  67. display characters with their parity
  68. bits so that the `graphics' characters

  83. some instances an interrupt might be
  84. missed and leave the system in a state
  85. where it is expecting data that will not
  86. be sent.  If you suspect this, try an
  87. Alt-F7 before rebooting the software to
  88. see if it breaks you out of the
  89. situation.

  93. Puts SIMTERM in a `capture' mode so that
  94. all input received over the
  95. communication line is logged to a disk
  96. file.  Handy for picking up ASCII text
  97. from a system that does not support
  98. XMODEM.  It will prompt you for a file
  99. name.

  103. Will `dump' a ASCII file on the PC to
  104. the comm line.    This is a way of
  105. `uploading' to a system that does not
  106. support XMODEM.

  110. Toggles the `vi' mode.  Handy when you
  111. exit SIMTERM and then come back into it
  112. with UNIX still in `vi'.  The mode
  113. should be TRUE to have the cursor keys
  114. work for `vi'.

  117. Alt-F
  118. Enter the `local' line editting mode.
  119. This allows you to make corrections to a
  120. line and then reenter it.  Use the
  121. cursor control keys to move to the line,
  122. `Ins' and `Del' to fixup the line and
  123. then hit return to reenter the line and
  124. leave the line edit mode.

  127. Alt-V
  128. Will display a menu that is used with
  129. the `auto-dial' capability of the
  130. Ventel.  Once in this menu, select the
  131. desired feature.

  135. Toggle parity mask.  SIMTERM usually
  136. strips off the high bit before
  137. displaying a character on the screen.
  138. If you dial a board that uses character
  139. graphics, toggle this switch.
